Introduction to the Course
Welcome to the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) "Ethics Training for Special Government Employees."
This course has been created specifically for Special Government Employees (SGEs) and satisfies the Office of Government Ethics' (OGE) requirements that SGEs receive Initial Ethics Training (IET) and Annual Ethics Training (AET) that are interactive. Anywhere in the course where the term Agency is used that means HHS.
You don't have to be an SGE to take this course, but if you are looking for ethics training for Regular Government Employees (RGEs), you might want to look at the OGE web site (Link to OGE web site) or ask the ethics officials in your agency.
