Employees should submit requests to the IC Ethics Office 8 weeks in advance of the proposed start date of the activity (new or renewal) to allow sufficient time for full review in the IC and in the NIH Ethics Office (NEO). IC ethics official shall ensure that the package is thoroughly reviewed and complete prior to submission to NEO. See the NEAC topic page for more information.
