Substantially Affected Organizations: List of Sector Funds

A sector fund is a mutual fund whose objective is to invest in a particular industry or sector of the economy to capitalize on returns. 

This list of sector funds provides a resource for NIH employees to help identify funds that focus their investments in companies that are considered substantially affected organizations.  These funds are commonly known as health sector funds.

This list is NOT ALL-INCLUSIVE and serves only as a guide representing the type of investment funds that are subject to financial interest limitations. A fund not listed here is not automatically excluded from being a health sector fund.  Discuss the fund with your IC Ethics Office(,4 pages) staff.   The date following the name is when it was added to the list. Entries with no date were added in 2009 or earlier. Click on a letter to go to the beginning of that section of the list.
